Congratulations Scholarship Winners!
We are excited to share the good news that Savannah Tardibono was a recipient of the OK/LA Connection Advanced Scholarship through auditions this weekend. Judges were professionals from LA and abroad. And following in her sister's footsteps, Michael Tardibono was a recipient of the junior scholarship award. Both auditioned with a group fo 80 dancers in the style of classical ballet.

September Update...

Our dance year begins with more students joining us for classes than ever before. We are very blessed that parents value quality Christian dance training. Our Dove Dance Tulsa changed hands and is newly named The Calling Dance Academy. The Calling is owned by our former teacher, Jessica Case. We are so excited for their new beginning!
Our China Olympic Festival Tour Mission Trip was a huge success. We fulfilled the definition of mission in every aspect such as humanitarian work, sharing our faith, political influence, and cultural exchange. We danced in children's homes and western churches, danced in Tianamen Square the day the Olympic Torch entered Beijing, met First Lady Laura Bush, and held two dance workshops in Beijing and Lang Fang. We are looking forward to more tours overseas as God opens doors for us.
Special thanks to the following China Tour donors: Harvest Time Church in Enid with Pastor Carl Roberts, Calvary Temple in Edmond with Pastor Dale Drain, Shafer Dental, and SCO-JO Environmental. Our deepest gratitude is also extended to the many private Dove Dance families and friends who contributed as well to our 13 member team.
Our company will be ministering in dance at the North American Feast of Tabernacles on Monday, October 14th. We will also be a part of numerous fall conventions in Oklahoma and abroad. Our company is preparing for our Classic Christmas Show which we will be performing in churches and as outreach. Dates and locations will be posted in October.
Congratulations to our students who were cast in area The Nutcracker performances as follows: Tulsa Ballet: Madison Pride as the lead Marie/Claire, Emma Harris/party guest – Ballet Oklahoma: Claire Harris and Meagan Bradley/Jester Dolls, Emily Williams/Angel, Destiny Teitjin and Allie Renner/Party Guests. We are all so proud of you! May you shine the light and love of God.
We welcome The Porters to our ballet department staff. They come to us from Texas and have been a part of the Austin Ballet and Colorado Ballet Companies. We also welcome back many of all of our loving and professional staff for a great season ahead. May we advance the Kingdom of God together!

“Night to Honor Israel” Oklahoma City Event – June 29th at Crossroads Cathedral. Admission is free. Dove Dance Co. will be ministering in dance. This event supports Israel and the Jewish community by raising funds and awareness.

Dove Dance to Perform in Olympic Festival in July – please keep our thirteen member team in your prayers. We will be in Beijing, China for two weeks as we perform our dances and also work at a children’s home for disabled children.

Congratulations Students! On a wonderful dance recital!!
On May 17th, our dancers performed the 15th annual dance performance at Oklahoma City University. Dancing for two packed out houses, the dancers shared what they had learned in dance skills this season as well as their heart and love for God.

Join us Monday, June 2nd at 7:00 PM at Holland Hall for our Tulsa Student Performance. Admission is free.

Summer Seven Week Session

Schedule is online now for both OKC and Tulsa. Camp information to come this week. We have planned guest artists as well our current staff to impart in to the dancers. 

Camps are for 3 & 4 year olds, 5 & 6 year olds, and 7 – 11 year olds.

Dove Dance to Perform in Summer Olympic Festival in Beijing

Dove Dance SOAR Professional Company will be traveling to Beijing, China to perform at the Olympic Festival and Project Dance, Hong Kong. Dove Dance will also be doing humanitarian work at the Agape House for special needs children. We are so blessed to have this opportunity! What are professionals saying about Dove Dance training?

In a recent dance competition through DMA,  Dove Dance students competed in a group of almost 50 dancers from other Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas DMA dance schools. DMA brings in a panel of seasoned judges who have worked professionally throughout the country.   Part of the scoring is through an intense four hour audition which includes jazz, ballet, tap, and acrobatics.  One dancer is selected from each of the four age divisions as the "overall high score audition winner".  Out of the four divisions, Dove Dance students won three.  So, in addition to winning three DMA State titles, Dove Dance left a strong impression on the judges in masterclasses as well. This means our students are recieving strong training, even on a regional level. We also had many students in the top five and win individual audition high scores.  We are thankful to the Lord for these blessings.

New Tulsa Opening!

Dove Dance Tulsa Builds New Facility and plans to open in the fall of 2008.  Equal to our nationally acclaimed facility in Oklahoma City, the Tulsa school will be equipped with state of art floors, decor, and dressing rooms.  Please tell your friends and family!  Enrollment for fall will begin in mid-March.
