Summer Happenings
Summer brings many wonderful opportunities for our students. Some of our Senior Company enjoyed the OK/LA Connection Workshop in June. Lisa Woods and Hui Cha Poos were amazing instructors! Mrs. Daphne enjoyed speaking at the Mrs. Oklahoma 2007 pageant in Bartlesville as well as judging for the Junior Miss Achievement Program in Western Oklahoma. Lynneth Miller just returned from the Ballet Magnificat! Summer Intensive. Madison, Cortlin, and Jordan returned from Talent on Parade Nationals in Hot Springs. The girls won overall national awards and had a wonderful time!
Savannah Tardibono will be in New York City this month competing as DMA Miss Teen Dance of Oklahoma. Savannah, along with four of our Senior Company Members, will also enjoy taking open classes at the Alvin Ailey School and the American Ballet Theatre. Congratulations to “Remember Me” for winning the overall dance award at YOUTH AMERICA this month. We were pleased to see “How to Save a Life” win second place as well. Great Job Girls!! The Power of God’s Spirit is evident in you.
